No experience needed
The instructor introduces only the controls and indications you need, then guides you through every phase.
Taxi, take off and land an Airbus A320 with an instructor by your side. No flying experience is required, and the complete session is available in English.

The instructor introduces only the controls and indications you need, then guides you through every phase.
Fly from a familiar airport, attempt an approach you have always wanted to see or follow the team's recommendation.
Give an enthusiast something they actively take part in rather than an object that stays on a shelf.
The experience begins before take-off. During the briefing you learn how the side-stick, thrust levers and main flight displays work. The instructor explains the planned route and helps you focus on a few useful references rather than every switch in the cockpit.
Once seated, you may taxi to the runway, set take-off thrust, lift the aircraft into the climb and follow a route. The approach brings the challenge together: speed, configuration and flight path must become stable before you guide the aircraft towards the runway. If time and format allow, a manoeuvre can be reset and attempted again.
A beginner receives calm, direct guidance. An aviation enthusiast may want to understand more of the displays and automation. The session is adjusted to the participant, so enjoying the flight matters more than memorising technical detail.
English-speaking visitors receive the same complete experience as Spanish speakers. Briefing, cockpit guidance, questions and debriefing can all take place in English.
A simulator session can suit birthdays, celebrations, holidays in Bilbao or a surprise for someone who has always wanted to sit in an airliner cockpit. Before choosing, tell the team whether the recipient is a complete beginner, an experienced home-simulator user, a student or a pilot. This helps match the session to their expectations.
Prices and formats may change, so this page does not publish a figure that could become outdated. Check the current session options and confirm the conditions directly with North Aviation.
The simulator is in central Bilbao at C/ Iparraguirre 36. If your trip starts at Bilbao Airport, use the latest transport information and allow enough time before the confirmed booking. Wear comfortable shoes and arrive ready to ask questions; no advance study is required.
If you already fly or study aviation and want a technical objective, the A320 simulator page for pilots explains the separate familiarisation approach and its non-certified scope.
